Weekly Blog Post 2/17/2017

2/17/2017

I'm a day behind on the blog this week but I decided to take a run out to my local retro game store to see if they got anything new in yesterday instead.  The whole trip took longer than I thought it was going to take but I did end up getting some new games.  One notable pickup was Grandia for the Playstation 1.  While I was there another customer and I were talking and he mentioned Grandia 2 for the Dreamcast.  When I got home I was able to find it online for a reasonable price.

While that last sentence may not seem too important, it does highlight a fact when it comes to my game collecting.  I never would have thought to look at the Dreamcast for new games to get.  Like the Game Boy, Game Color and Game Boy Advance, I tend to focus on systems I had growing up instead of focusing on the systems that I own.  I started to look into more Game Boy Advance games and I plan to do the same for the Dreamcast.

I plan on having the Double Dragon IV review up either tonight or Saturday.  After that I'm going to be doing a few mobile game reviews for the games I'be been playing.

Everyone have a good week.
