With the exception of my normal mobile games, this past week has all been about the Steam Summer Sale. I've been pretty focused on Steam trying to find new games that I might be interested and clearing out my wishlist of games that I am probably never going to play. Since I was so focused on looking for new games, I never finished the review that I wanted to put out this past Saturday. So the plan is to have that mobile game review up this coming Saturday. Besides that I plan to keep on reducing my wish list on Steam.
Everyone have a good week. Overall, I had another good week of gaming. I started playing Persona 4 Golden on Steam and while I'm still in the very early part of the game I am having a great time with it. It's great going back into an enhanced version of one of my favorite games since I know what to expect, but enough new content was added to make it feel new. Mobile gaming has pretty much been the same from last week, however, I did put some time into Final Fantasy Brave Evius to get the new Quistis character from Final Fantasy 8 they released. Besides that, I'm getting ready for the Steam Summer sale that starts later in the week and working on content for the site. Everyone have a good week. So I had a lot going on this week. As far as gaming I was finally able to get some console gaming on the SNES. I wasn't playing anything in particular, but I did play a variety of games. On the PC I focused on Command and Conquer Remastered along with some indie titles. I have been pretty steady with mobile games sticking to Marvel Strike Force, Star Trek Timelines, The King Of Fighters All Stars and Final Fantasy War of the Visions. So overall a pretty busy week for playing games.
I watched Sony's Playstation 5 presentation and I have to say I wasn't that impressed. The press conference itself was alright, but I was getting bored near the end of it. I also like the console design. But most of the games did not interest me. The only games they announced that I was really interested in where Deathloop and Resident Evil 7, two games that are going to be on PC anyway. I was also hoping for a price on the system but I guess they want to wait until the Tokyo Game show to announce it. One thing I was surprised about was finding out Saturday that Persona 4 Golden was released on Steam. I am a huge fan of Persona 4 on the Playstation 2 and while I did buy Persona 4 Golden for the PS Vita, I never really got around to playing it. I bought this immediately on Steam and plan to play through it over the summer. What I'm hoping for is that this game does really well and Atlus releases more of their games on Steam from the Playstation 2 era. That or Persona 5 from the Playstation 4. Everyone have a good week. So this past week was pretty fun. Command and Conquer Remasted game out and while I will be writing a review on it within the next two weeks, I will say now as a fan of the series, this is a fun game. I did get time to play some indie PC games along with some old console games. On mobile I've been playing multiple games while also cutting some games out. Finally, I've been working on some content for the site. Overall, a pretty good week for gaming.
Everyone have a good week. So we are in June now and this was my first attempt doing the new content release schedule for the site. So far I like it with all of the non review/blog content going up on the first of the month. I feel it gives me more time to plan out a write better content for these areas of the site. I also want to go through the site and fix the grammar and punctuation on almost all of the old content.
I am looking forward to the Command and Conquer Remastered Collection that is supposed to come out this Friday. Besides that I plan on working on the website over the next week. Everyone have a good week. |
