Tsuni is one of those games that has a simple premise but some replay value to it. The game only has one stage with the goal of fighting off groups of enemies that get sent after you. Each group that spawns is a different group of enemies and as you get farther in the game the enemies become more varied with different attack patterns. After you take out a certain number of enemy spawn groups the wave ends and a shop appears where you spend any coins you earned on gear upgrades. The game continues until you either die or you take out the end boss.
Besides a basic sword attack your character also has some special moves that can be used when not on cooldown. These special moves are all useful and I found them in many cases to be good defensively as well as for there offensive use. Along with the random enemy spawns, the shop upgrades are also varied and change between each playthrough. The only complaint I have about the gameplay was that I felt that the controls could have been fine tuned to be more accurate. This is also a personal observation and the game may be handling exactly how it was intended to be played.
The game has good hand drawn graphics for everything from the stage background to the enemies. The audio was also well done. This is a decent game that does offer some replay value due to random aspects in it. While the game could have used some more modes or even a real story, the game is still good for what it is. If you want a simple wave based game that you can pick up and play for short bursts look no farther than this game.
