I never have been a fan of soccer. Nothing against the sport, it is just something that I never got interested in. The closest I have gotten to playing soccer is playing a foosball table. While I was never great at it, I still found it enjoyable. I came across this game and I was in the mood to play foosball again. Since I do not own a foosball table, this is the next closet thing.
The game lets you pick either nine or five ball, if you want the game to auto kick for you, what side you want to be on (if playing against the AI) and from one of three backgrounds. Once the game starts your goal is to hit the ball into the other players goal. Normally, on a regular foosball table, you move each of the four handles separately when blocking and kicking the ball. One big difference here is that you control all the handles all at once. I had no problem with this, but it still something that should be mentioned. Overall the game plays good and the AI, while not challenging, is functional and will score goals if you let it.
With the game’s cartoony look and easy gameplay, I enjoyed this game. Every game I played took under ten minutes to complete with most being done in under five. This game does one thing and does it well. While I’m sure the game is fun with two players, playing against the AI is there if you want to get a quick game in.
