Robot Warriors is a simple game. When you start the game you get to choose between a melee and shooting character. The game has no story, you just go from mission to mission following the objectives which usually revolve around killing a certain amount of enemies. Those include a shooting enemy, a melee enemy and bigger versions of those two that act as bosses. On occasion you get a mission that involves you finding the exit while killing everything around you.
The gameplay is ok but nothing great. The graphics and sound are ok but nothing that is amazing or memorable. The level design is basic but gets the job done. With the amount of health and damage powerups scattered around the game is not very challenging. Playing as the shooter I went through the whole game in about twenty minutes only dying on the final stage once.
Overall this is a good attempt at an action game. There are some bugs like enemies and players being able to go through walls and the AI just standing facing a wall. While there are two playable characters to choose from, there is no reason to pick the melee one unless you want the extra challenge. With that said the core elements of the game work fine. I just wish there was more to do in the game.
