RetroMaze is a basic puzzle game. The goal of each stage is to take your ball from the start of the maze and get to the end. The game has thirty levels that get harder as the game progresses. The game sticks to a retro theme of using shades of pinks and purples mixed with black for almost everything. The games audio also had a retro feel to it and I got used to it after a few minutes. As far as I’m concerned the game set out to do what it described itself as: a relaxing retro puzzle game.
My biggest issue with the game is that there is no challenge to it. I went through all thirty levels in twenty five minutes. And once you beat the game there is no reason to go back to it. So while the game set out to be as it was described, it also is a very short experience. Ultimately, I still enjoyed the game. I just wish there was more to the game than under thirty minutes of content.
