Red Horizon is a very simple wave based space shooter.  Gameplay revolves involves you moving your ship around and aiming at other ships while your ship auto fires.  Once you destroy all the ships you go to the next wave and this continues to the end of the game.  Every few waves you get to select items to make you stronger, shoot faster, ect. and you have some boss battles mixed in as well.  You have a shield that can block enemy bullets but has a recharge time after use.  While enemies do drop health, if you take too many shots you will die and the game starts over again.  While I did like the presentation of the game, this is another example of a game you play a few times, maybe beat it and move on with no reason to come back to it.
