Pinball 2018 is the probably the most simple pinball game I have ever played.  The game uses simple graphics and music for the game. While the game plays like a pinball game, there is only one stage and the goal is to collect gems that show up on the screen.  You only get one ball so when you lose you have to start over again. Most game are over in about five minutes or less.

The game has two timers.  One shows how long the game lasts which gets reset every time you collect gem.  The other fills up gradually and when it fills up it changes items on the screen.  This could remove or add bumpers, beams, arcs, ect. While I didn’t mind the obstacle timer, the game timer got on my nerves.  There were many games that I could have kept going but I wasn’t able to get a gem in time.

While the game timer annoyed me and there was only onew backdrop to the game, I still found enjoyment in the game.  I liked there was a leaderboard that you can work towards it that is something that interests you. I also liked the pickup and play nature of the game and the randomness of the stage.  But truth be told, there is very little content here.
