Doom 2 was the first computer games I ever bought.  It was also the first game I played mods with.  I came across this mod while looking at the news for DOOM 2016 on Steam.  This is a nicely done mod that takes Doom 4 and pretends it was made in 1995.  That by itself is an achievement, but it's all the little things that make this a great mod.

The guns all feel great to use and are very well detailed.  The enemies are also well done and varied.  I love the blood effects and how they are rendered.  Mostly I like how the mod supports multiple Source Port programs so you can mostly play on your favorite one.  With constant updates since its release, this is a mod that I am going to be keeping an eye on.
