FOTONICA is a first person endless runner game that could also be considered a memory game. From what I could tell each of the games eight stages never changed each time I ran them. But with multiple paths to take within each stage, you have to do some experimenting to find the best path to get the highest score. I find the controls very responsive and easy to use. If I died, I never blamed the game but my poor judgement for not making a jump soon enough or not sticking the landing at the right time. When you make it to the end of a stage or die you get a score and you see your rankings on the online leaderboard.
The game has a wire frame presentation for it's graphics and levels which I found to be very well done. The game was well animated giving off the effect that you were running faster and faster. I also found the music and sound effects to be good. If I had one complaint about this game is would be that there are only the eight stages plus an endless mode. But with four difficulty settings which make you go faster, there is replay value to this game. This is a game that uses a minimalistic approach with great gameplay to great effect.
