1000 Shards is a game of reflexes.  You fly a small ship down a path dodging grey blocks that spawn in front of you all while collecting little white blocks.  Each block adds to your score and if you hit any of the grey blocks you die and the game ends.  That is the game in a nutshell.  Most game sessions I played were over within three minutes or less.

The game goes for a minimalistic approach for its graphics while the game has a good music track to it.  The game does have good controls and when I did crash I never felt it was the game's fault but mine just not reacting fast enough.  The main problem with the game is a lack of content.  Even having an online leaderboard would have added some value to this game.  I like what this game does, but I wish there was more to do in it.
