Time Splatter is a small on-rails shooter. The game has a basic story that sends you back to the past with the goal to kill everything that comes at you. These enemies come at you in waves and they include zombies, knights and dinosaurs. You get a handgun with unlimited ammo and enemies drop ammo boxes that can contain a shotgun, sub machine gun or a machine gun, all of which have limited ammo. Health packs are scattered throughout the stage and the game ends when you reach the end of the episode or you die.
The game uses decent graphics, for everything from weapons design, enemies and stage props. The gameplay is also decent and it does feel like an on-rails shooter. My biggest issue is the whole game can be beaten in five minutes. And once you beat the game there is no reason to come back to it. There is supposed to be more content added to the game, but as of this review no more content has been added. To me this is a clear example of a game that shows promise that was never finished.
