Overall I had a pretty good week as far as gaming. While I never got a chance to do any console gaming, I was able to get in a fair amount of PC gaming ranging from FPS to fighting games. I also did a lot of mobile gaming with most of my time going to King of Fighters All Star and Marvel Strike Force. The Steam Halloween sale came and went and I did end up getting a fair amount of smaller indie games. I plan on getting some more gaming in later in the week.
Everyone have a good week. While I have not had a chance yet this week to do any major console or PC gaming, I have had time to get in a lot of mobile games. I've mostly been playing The King of Fighter All Stars, Mortal Kombat Mobile and Marvel Strike Force. I've also been working on content for the site. I should have a large chunk of time at the end of the week for some console and PC gaming.
Also, the Steam Halloween sale started yesterday and I am eyeing up a bunch of small indie games I have been after with a few mainstream ones as well. Everyone have a good week. While I did not get much console or PC gaming in this week, I have done a lot of mobile gaming. I've been playing some DC Legends and Marvel Strike Force but most of my time has been on Mortal Kombat Mobile and The King Of Fighters All Star. So far KOF All Star has been a great game and I am looking forward to seeing what comes next with the next update. I plan on doing more gaming on all platforms this coming week as I should have a lot of free time.
I am also going back to a more structured format for content updates which will start next week and be posted in the About section of the site. Everyone have a good week. The Early Access game article for October will now be up later this week. I had a game picked out and had an article written when the game got an official release. So that game will now be this week's game review. I am also thinking of going back to a more traditional content release schedule like I did back earlier in the year. If I decide to do this I will do it starting in November.
As far as gaming this week I have kept up with Marvel Strike Force on mobile and I’ve also been playing multiple console games. I plan on playing a lot more console games over the next few weeks. Everyone have a good week. Most of my week has been spent on multiple mobile games. Some PC and console games mixed in there, but mostly mobile games. I plan on having a review for Mario Kart Tour up next week. I also plan on having my Early Access game article up either later today or later in the week. I plan on focusing some more time on older console games over the next week.
Everyone have a good week. Really quick update this week. I've been mostly playing mobile games, particularly Mario Kart Tour and Path of Radiance. I'm going to be launching a new section on the site that talks about Co-Op games my brother and I are playing. It's going to be going up the first week of every month the same day I post my monthly pickup article. Besides that I hope to get some time later in the week to play some indie games I have on my radar.
Everyone have a good week. An overall quiet week for gaming up until yesterday. I've been playing some small indie games and still playing Marvel Strike Force on mobile. I also got some time to play Dissida on mobile. I also am working on two new sections for the site. One is going up next month and the other will go up sometime in November. But let's talk about Mario Kart Tour, a mobile game that came out yesterday.
I've put a few hours into Mario Kart Tour and so far I am enjoying it. This is a watered down version of Mario Kart for mobile devices. The game looks and sounds great and I got used to the controls very quickly. The fact that they have no stamina system means you can race as many times as you want and I like that part of the game. I've seen a lot of comments and articles complaining about certain aspects of the game and I'm going to throw my two cents in down below: -I have no problem with the gold subscription. This is no different than many other mobile games I play. The only difference is that I would have priced it at either $1.99 or $2.99 a month. -I have no problem playing the game in vertical mode, but I understand some people like to play games that way, particularly racing games. -The pull elements in this game are not bad. I've seen a lot worse in other games and if you really want a character, kart or glider from a banner after doing enough pulls you will get what you are looking for. Problem is, it might cost you upwards of 450 rubies to do it. -The cap on coins per day should either be higher or removed for subscribers. -The cap on experience per day for items and characters should be higher or removed for subscribers. -I could care less about multiplayer and like the way the game does races, but glad multiplayer is coming later for the people who want it. Anyone who reads these blog posts or knows me understands that a spend a fair amount of time playing mobile games. I play more mobile games than I do console games now. So when I saw this game was coming out I was excited since even though I own a Switch and have Mario Kart 8 Deluxe I could not tell you the last time I played it. I started playing this game yesterday and saw nothing that shocked me or turned me away from this game. This feels like every other mobile game I have played except it is based on Mario Kart. The game has been out for a day so time will tell what changes/improvements are going to be coming over the next few weeks and months. I'm sure some things and aspects are going to be tweaked based on player feedback. I'm probably going to review this game, but I am going to wait until October to do it since I want to see if any changes get put into the game first. Everyone have a good week. Not much going on this week. I have been putting some extra time into Marvel Strike Force on mobile and I've been playing a little bit of Rainbow Six Siege. I'm going to try to get some more gaming in at the tail end of the week.
Everyone have a good week. I spent a lot of time this week playing Rainbow Six Siege with my brother. We did some other co-op games, but stuck mostly with Siege. On mobile I'm still with Marvel Strike Force. I was finally able to give Control a try and so far I am enjoying it. I've also been playing some retro games, one is for this month's retro article and another for a new section I am adding to the site next month.
Everyone have a good week This week has been about gaming with my brother. That gaming has revolved around World of Warcraft and Rainbow Six Siege. On mobile I'm still sticking with Marvel Strike Force, which is impressive since I usually which mobile games by now. I still have to make time to play Control, but I should have some time at the end of the week.
Everyone have a good week. |
